My corsa won't start. when i turn the key the starter motor just clicks. had this problem before and it turned out to be the earth on the starter it was this but ive tightened the bolt and it did work for a day but then same problem again. its had a new battery a couple of days ago which seemed to help.
I need this car back on the road. thanks in advance

The strap has probably corroded and broken off.
I have a starter here, £20 posted.

gave it a tap with a hammer and it made a bit more than a click but then when back to normal. i'm thinking this is a wiring problem as the battery is 2 days old. the starter works when the engines on, gave it a quick test and it obviously engages.
cant keep push starting it, had to get my girlfriend to help the other morning which was funny as when i explained what to do inside the car i just got a blank expression, so she had to push
engine was out just over a month ago and starter looked to be in very good condition also got a spare starter just dont want to go to the hassle of changing this as i've got new car coming soon thanks anyway
