Looking to buy some new brake's for my corsa sport (1.4) is there a difference between the 1.6 disc's and 1.4 one's? Also will the 1.6 disc's fit with the 1.4 pad's?

Just get some vectra V6 288mm brakes, job done lol.

1.4 brakes are smaller than the 1.6's

dont know the actual sizes though

256MM 2.0L brakes are best on a 1.4. 288MM's are big and heavy, and give a crap pedal feel.

V6 calipers give a crap pedal feel, turbo calipers don't.

To answer the original question, 1.4 discs are 236 x 20 mm whilst 1.6 discs are 256 x 20 mm.

1.4 pads will fit with 1.6 discs as the pads and callipers are exactly the same - its just the carriers that are different.

Cav Turbo and early Calibra Turbo brakes are, late Calibra Turbo are 288s.

Calipers are the same though iirc.
