I've got this saved in my watch list on the bay.

It looks good in the photo but not sure what performance gains you'll get. I would assume it will help a bit seeing as it's bigger than the standard one all the way through

Aye Darryl the bore size is 2.5" so you would think it would be better flow than standard.

Yeah I thought it was a 2.5" one, if you get it be sure to let us know if it's good quality/makes any difference. Although I'd imagine you won't know if you aren't putting the standard one on originally

First item to be changed on a XE really, Standard manifolds are a good design already, but depending on the application of the car they become restricted higher up the revs, so a wider one benefits the engine there, but will loose some low end torque but in a corsa wouldn't be noticeable . Depends how you will drive it mark.

I'd love a bigger bore manifold on mine. Just not sure how it would all connect upto another system. :/

would of thought 4.1 would of been better than 4.2.1 for torque

Yes, common for them to crack. Heard of a few cracking.

They are pretty big compared to standard. On a dyno, you might notice some small gains, on the road, on a nigh on standard motor, well, gains could be questionable.

I had a blast against Jordan C from on here when i had my old XE. Both healthy motors, mine with Ashley manifold and 2.25" decat system, him on standard manifold with decat system. Both cars were neck and neck over a good few miles of hard driving from low down right up to near the top end. Nothing in it at all.

I would stick with the standard manifold, its a good design and isn't really a restriction up to as good as 200bhp. Only difference would probably be a slight change in exhaust note.

stainless steel manifolds are known to crack, id only ever fit a mild steel, wouldnt fit any of that daft exahust wrap either, that can promote rust

I've still got my exhaust that i need to sell but have not got round to advertising again.

Basically its a stainless steel custom made exhaust by simpson race exhausts. The manifold is the same spac as the btb/sbd type c badboy only its made from stainless steel.
Its a beast of a full system and i've had it in my bedroom for a year now lol

I'd get rid of it for £500 which if you price up a type c manifold alone you will find is an absolute bargain
