After some suggestions as to what I can upgrade my front Brake Pads to on my Vectra VXR
I'm currently using EBC Yellowstuff and find them alright, but wonder what I can find that is better.
I'm not sure what exactly will be available to me, but as I use the same Calipers as a Focus ST225, if it is available for them, then I can use it (nowhere really lists anything for the VXR)
Ideally something that is suitable for a large barge of a car on the road primarily, but also for occasional track bashing, and also something that won't break the bank and rob my VED funds for it...

for the price i thought the yellow stuff were good, excellent value for money but i thought the ds2500 were a good performer but were at a price.

Really?
I've always found it 100% the other way
Mintex a fair bit cheaper, but not as good on the car

Mintex are definately cheaper than DS2500's. Not sure on performance of the Mintex ones though.

Ive also heard that too. Not just for the Vectra, but the Cavalier V6 etc.
Apparently you can get them from Vauxhall dealerships too.

I found that the ds2500 pads were very abrasive and ate my discs. For normal road use and a bit of spirited driving I use pagid pads which is more than enough. No idea what they'll be like on track tho.

Yes you can.
I had them on my Vectra GSi. Even says on the pad Police Spec.
Dust like a fucker tho, so forever cleaning the wheels.
