Rite i think i may have to sell my Leon to pay off an early redemtion charge on my mortgage :-( But really not sure what its worth; mainly because is recorded as Cat D as was stolen recovered about 3 years ago
Spec is
- Leon 1.9 FR Tdi
- 80K
- 12 Months MOT and tax 05/13
- Climate
- CD changer
- Electric folding mirrors
Recentley spent £600 on a full service and cambelt and water pump service; and for its last MOT had 4 new tyres and new pads all round. On eBay they seem to go from £3,800 -> £5,250. But being Cat D i know that has an impact so not to sure; the car really is as good as it looks in the pics and is fault free...but whats it worth putting it up for
Here it is..

Wisebuyer valuation - £4000
being a private plate i cant tell the age so put it 55 plate gives you some idea
look at Autotrader and pistonheads and take a look at what other cars are selling for in the same condition.
Cat D is a shame but with a service, tyres and the like it is all in your favour.

Yeah its a real shame its a Cat D as im sure its better than most that arent I was hoping towards £3.5K as have a £5K fee to find in a month!! Im sure if someone came out they would pay that; its just getting someone past the Cat D part i guess
daymoon - sorry mate; still leaves me with the problem of no cash

Cant pay on a credit card; tried thinking of all options but this seems the best at the moment; reduces my term on my mortgage by 14 years and payment down by £100 a month so is a no brainer
