Yeah a couple on here have had problems but that's down to the fact they weren't cleaned out properly or were not sealed before hand.

i wouldent get it done , i had mine done, i spent 2 hours creaning it , used petrol power washed it, brake cleaner, got it mint, 2 days after there was sand inbeded in the metal that had started to come out, ended up getting it acid dipped, known of a few mates who have had engine failers from it

I had issues with mine being filled with shit after I got it back. After having issues with powder coating I threw it in the bin.

The place i plan on getting mine done seal them up before blasting.

Not getting the inside blasted obviously.

even if it is masked sand gets in it!

i have done a few rockers and never had a complaint

i know how to clean them out though

Not sure how he seals them up says he has done loads of rocker covers and never had any complaints.

Even if they are sprayed there is a chance crap from rubbing them down can get inside the cover and do the same damage.

Do not blast the inside of the cam covers as the media WILL embed itself into the alloy.

Dipping them is the best way and obviously leaves the surface looking perfect.

I'll get a picture tomorrow of the bits I have just had done.

Out of interest is it a 20xe one you need as I'm just about to have some wheels done and I have a few spare cam covers which I could send along to be done.

Yeah its a early engine cover. and i wasn't going to have the insides done.
