well im into my old fords (corsa a runabout believe it or not..more like project number 3 lol) and i am putting some 185 60 14 tyres (dunlop no cheap shit) onto my new rims! these do fit on the wheels as my other tyre fitter (who is incrdibely busy and i needed these done hence kwikfit..-wish i didnt bother) got them on ! they are not stretched rubber bands or anything so no one should have a problem !

the tyre fitter managed to pop the metal bead out of the rubber in the tyre and fucked my brand new dunlop .. they say they have ordered in an exact match dunlop sp sport etc.. and will be here wednesday..

suppose its a rant and lets see if it comes through wednesday - lucky i went there and I AM getting an exact replacement imagine what would happen if i went to those turkish ones that pop up everywhere

will update wednesday and get my old tyre fitter onto these

sometimes i wonder why i bother

pretty sure you lot have your stories but at least we the customer have a leg to stand on i guess, could of been in a worse of position of not having even a replacement come through!

Mistakes happen. They are rectifying it without cost to you.

I imagine they won't charge you for fitting either, if they have any decency.

I always go to proper tyre places for this very reason. May be a bit more expensive but you have a leg to stand on if they mess up.

i do normally use them but this instance the new guy was in who has 'only' done this for a month - he told me that asfter fucking my tyre up ...

its just the stress time delay to my project its caused but as said moral of the story - i have shit luck, and isnt a major rant just saying they aint that bad either they could have just given me a fucked tyre back.

we'll see what i get given on wednesday..

They fitted a backbox for me and it was blowing, fuckers didn't fit it properly.

you must have pissed them off

i've taken my last 3 cars there and always got top notch service.

they also give me discount on tyres because i work at ford just down the road to them
