How much of a difference is it between the steel and alloy as steel ones are around £340 and i can get alloy ones for atleast £100 less than that so is it common for the alloy ones to break or just an internet myth? Anyone recommend places?

Well they are spacers and adapters! Going to fit a different make of wheel to my corsa and been looking and they do the alloy ones which are cheaper but heard a few people say they break easier?!

I wasn't being arsey just wasn't sure 100% what you meant.
To OP, ignore what people say about alloy spacers, they're fine. I had 20mm alloys hubcentrics on my Evo and they were made by Eibach

Ooo no just thought you were getting confused bud! As i guess they are spacers but i need mine to obviously change the stud pattern etc! The only problem there is eibach are a high quality company so if i was to buy a cheaper version i could come with problems!? i dont want to believe internet myths but i dont want to go around the corner one day to have my alloy over take me :/

Brand doesn't matter, what they're made from and to what tolerance is the main thing. Problem with cheaper stuff is you generally won't know.

already have bud! His are fk but they are th £340 ones and they are steel which brings me to the question how much of a difference is there because if these are reknown for breaking il just save up for the fk ones but if they arent as bad as people say i might just get them and save myself 100 quid! :S

What torque does your XE have? Because mine have been under about 400lb ft for a while now. No problems there

Vaux is 56.6 so they would go on but you'd want spigot rings ideally.
