Thought I'd share some pics. My Dads never been to the Nurburgring and he's always wanted to grace his tailgate with a sticker so we went in his Astra for a weekend and he loved it.

I love the place and make the trip every year

Track shots

Dad having a go although he did miss the Karussell , But he's never been before and never been on a track so he did great for a 62 year old novice

It’s free on all the corners so just plan it so the that you go when the VLN is on the Sat and public on the Sun. You need Ferry/train, Accommodation, fuel, European breakdown cover, food etc. and you can do a good weekend on 500 quid between 2 in one car mate.

No mate.. He moved to the right for it. It was going much quicker than him on the bends. He Pulled away from it on the straights. He just wasn't used to the bends.

I had to take a pic of that JR

Yea cheers guys... It's a 1.9 with a 888 map. Infact it's got everything 888 on the car accept for the brakes. He loves the 888 but he has a massive German shepherd so needed the estate. Ive also popped a whiteline anti roll bar on the back. It's actually a very nippy car and handles well for a bus
