Head gasket hasnt gone, its got full service history.
Main problems on these are cambelts snapping
Camshaft Variators packing up
Rough idles from dirty throttle bodies
Knocking from the suspension where the bushes have gone!
Mines had all of it haha!
Luckily the cambelt snapped on the previous owner and there is a receipt for the work being done.
Ive had to replace the cambelt, variator and water pump and clean the throttle body out and I've got some knocks to sort out but apart from that its sweet as a nut

Bought some AP coilovers received them today (fresh out of the box)! A long with my new top mounts! (not pictured)
I thought the rears were adjustable but apparently not!
I don't know when I'm going to be able to get them fitted yet! Hopefully as soon as possible!
Just thought I would keep you all updated!

Nice car that. It's nice to see it in a different colour as well from the usual blue or yellow lol.

Right, got the coilovers on
The back still needs to settle (I want it lower as the springs are only 40mm) and the front will most likely need raising a bit to suit the back, need to get alignment done now!
Unfortunately only managed to drive home as the all to common clip broke off my drivers side wiper linkage! (it was raining rather heavily!)
But from what I felt, it feels amazing! The old shocks must have been shot to bits because the ride is a lot more comfortable now, if a little stiffer!
Anyway, pictures. Cars filthy but oh well
And a bit of an arty shot!
Sorry the pics arent the best, my phone didnt like the lighting! ha.

Got some clean pictures and the rear has settled now, the front needs lifting to make it sit more level!
But I wanna get some 50mm rears in the future.
Had the tracking & Camber set up, tracking was well out! haha!
Not the best quality and you can see the state of the front bumper in the first pic!
Cheers

yes! The front bumper really lets its down unfortunately! But suspension came first as the old shocks and top mounts were screwed

Couple of updates.
Car needs a good clean and polish as the paint is looking a bit worse for wear thanks to me being lazy and taking it to the poles
Anyhow.
Got the new rear spax 50mm's on, I think it looks a lot better, not as low as I would like it to be but I cant find anyone that will recompress them so I may have to chop a couple of coils off the AP springs.
Pictures...
Last little update.
Some little faggot did this to the car... Got it booked in to be sprayed then I'll give it a good clean and polish afterward.
Cheers.
