Hi Team,
Is anyone a member at "The Gym Group" - one of these 24hrs a day numbers. Link below. One is opening next month in Edinburgh next to my work so thinking of joining as my current gym is about 45 mins away from the city centre (bus and car).
Any thoughts would be great!

Only £10.99 per month

Knew it sounded too good to be true, my closest one in Tottenham hale and I don't really want to get stabbed whilst doing bench. Otherwise it's a good deal.

Used to go to the one in Birmingham, busy and dirty sum it up well. Was good when it first opened, but after a while you began to get what you paid for.

Is there not one down at the back steps of the Waverly station? Can remember seeing a gym down there on my fag breaks.
Not sure if its the same one but can remember thinking it was crazy cheap.

Hotel Gym's are always shocking
I'm with Total Fitness, Massive free weights , including plate loaded machines and equally a massive area for cardio, pool etc.
£29 a month because I'm a part time student

Thats the one mate! think it was called Factory Gym before?
You acess it via Waverly Gait now off Princess St?
Will be using it for weights and cardio.
Main reason for joining is that it will:
a) Save on Petrol
b) Is £10 cheaper than my current Gym
c) I literally have to walk past it to get home so harder to avoid going!
Motivation at an all time low just now to go do 2 hours in the Gym
Thanks as always for the help lads!

Yeah down that massive hill. I miss working down there, still have my work pass which gets me money off pretty much everywhere in the station including the pub.

I made a thread about this a couple of weeks ago, should be on Sports Day Page 1 or 2?
I joined the Gym in Colchester on Mon 17th Sept when it opened, can't go wrong for £10.99 a month, been 5 times in 8 days at all different hours and theres always been equipment available.
I really like the member-area they set up on their website where it records your personal useage etc.
Go for it

It doesn't, it just knows what time you go in and leave (you have to enter your pin at the door keypad). Suppose its your own responsibility to count what you do
