What's wrong with that? It's not a race car. Vauxhall only got 150 out of a 2.2.. An E46 3 series 2.0 makes 150bhp.. Audi A4 2.0FSI.. 150bhp again..

Not too bad really, torque is probably more important in day to day driving. Plus they'll still do 0-60 in about 10 seconds.

They can indeed get a lot more out of it, but emissions laws and silly euro rules mean they have to be restricted heavily.

Is it the 2.0duratecs that can see around 250-300 on throttle bodies, cams, management, etc?
VW only managed 115bhp from an 8v 2.0
