Finally.
Not sure how he managed to stay there that long, apparently his role is untenable... yeah, it was 2 years ago too

If ever there was an example of how not to run a football club, this is surely it. An absolute train wreck in every way.

Good luck to him.

Couldnt agree more. However you'll get a few people on here saying how wrong you are and don't understand the situation. Etc...

No doubt.
We (Colchester) have recently gone through a similar situation, John Ward as manager, 1 win in 22 games (9 this, 13 last season), no goals away in 5 games etc, the stats get worse.
Yet we supported the team for the 90mins, and booed at the end. We finally got what we wanted when he was sacked on Monday and replaced on yesterday by club legends Joe Dunne & Mark Kinsella, now I can't wait for tomorrow.
Blackburn's fans were just moronic throughout last season

As said above though, nothing will change with a different manager, the owners are absolutely clueless, so doubt new management will make much difference.

That would be me
Excellent news for Rovers fans and for the town as a whole. There's still bad things happening to the club and will do aslong as Venkys are there but Kean was a massive problem and thankfully he has gone. The next home match will prove that he was a problem when 20k+ fans go to the game, unlike around 10-14k so far this season.
Would be interesting to see who replaces him but surely anybody would be better. The team is easily good enough to get back to the PL, just need a manager who can get the best out of them and somebody to help bring the fans back and part of the club.

Surely the fans won't return while Venkys are in charge? Or will they all go next game and protest about that and continue to not bother supporting their team?
Tim Sherwood seems to be the chosen replacement, obviously Venkys are clever enough realise a former player will be a good choice with the fans for a few weeks anyway.

The fans know that Venkys need to go but for some unknown reason they have put money into the club this summer and kept most of their players so they are going to give venkys a chance in the hope of promotion. It could all change again depending on who they put in charge, Sherwood would be the fans number 2 choice with an experienced manager besides him. Big names are being rumoured but they wont happen, it's a shame Hughes isnt available because imo he would be top of the list. I can see Venkys choosing an ex player to get the fans back but most fans actually want experience so there's no risk of losing out to promotion.
Either way it's great Kean has gone, no matter how much abuse he got (rightly or wrongly) he had to go. Every person i have spoke to or heard about are going to return to Ewood even though Venkys are still in charge. For the past 18 months living in Blackburn will show you how bad of a situation it all is, EVERYBODY, ex sponsors, MPs, all ex players and current players who chose to speak up, local newspapers all want things back to how they were. I don't even support Rovers but it's hard not to get involved with it all

Berg has gone hope the Blackburn fans are happy with their current position and form since they got Kean sacked and stopped their protests over the idiots that run the club.

Half the Rovers fans never wanted Berg. It was known that he would be going this week, Berg was a quality player for Rovers and he always said that if he didnt perform well he would leave.
Kean had to go no matter what, everyone knows the main problems is Venky's and everyone else involved with the club. Needs a total start over but that wont be happening for a while. I said in summer that they will be waiting for Hughes to leave QPR as he will be offered a job, let's see if that happens.
I know the recent resluts look good on Kean but he had to go, it's as simple as that.

Just been reading the forums about this. They have sacked Berg and the coaches (so Black has gone aswell) but for some unknown and idiotic reason Hendry and Singh have stayed If they havnt got anyone lined up to manage them and Hendry is left in charge for the next game i can't imagine what the fans will be saying

Yeah i read that last night, very surprising.
The only good thing i can see at Rovers is that seen as all the staff have been sacked that must mean they have somebody lined up and will be bringing their own people. Im hoping it will be Hughes but im not sure if he will want to work under Venkys and Singh. Hopefully it won't take months again

Why would anyone want to work under the venkys? They keep showing they know nothing about running a football club

I can see Blackburn dropping to League 1 then coming back to the Championship a la Leeds a few seasons later.

Managerial merry-go-round.
Rovers are screwed with Venkys regardless of whos the manager!
Looking back on my posts from 28/9/12, I sort of hope we follow Blackburn and sack a 2nd manager in a season as we're even worse now than before!
