Just got a new laptop (Dell M6600). Windows Update installed Windows Security Essentials - is this good enough virus protection or should I be looking elsewhere? Think I've got a license for F-Secure still so could use that instead.

Norton or Bullguard if you're not tight.

MSE is OK for a freebie (probably the best of what's out there for free in my opinion).

MSE is perfectly fine.

I use NOD32 as I have done for years and love it.

Think I'll just carry on using MSE then for now - not buying anything as it's a work computer. My company just give you the machine and tell you to set it up/sort it, but they did tell me I needed anti-virus on it.

+1 for ESET NOD32 or their Internet Security suite - by far the lowest memory/processor footprint of any antivirus/firewall and always top the VB100 Virus Bulletin reports for never missing an 'in the wild' virus. It's about £40 if you go direct, but you can pick it up on Amazon for £25ish.
