Ordered some joggers online last week, hadn't received anything so rang the company who said the package had been delivered with Hermes a few days before. The courier notes stated that they had put the package in my letterbox.
I live in a black of flats, with a front office that's manned by receptionist 9-6 mon-fri and security guard at all other times. The letterbox next to the front door is tiny and definitely wouldnt fit a pair of joggers in.

They threw a package over our fence last week. It was a cardboard box with clothes in it and it had been raining that day - not great.

There was a dispute on here in which the seller said the guy turned up in his own car and left no proof of ever having taken the package. I don't think they're very good really.

Mongs I wouldn't mind as much if they'd left it in a shit place if they'd told me where. Fact is they haven't been here at all and are lying about it

The mrs has had nothing but issues with them when she has ordered stuff of QVC as that's who they use.
I actually think they are worse than Yodel.

Had no problems with Hermes though they don't give you an ETA unlike DPD (give you an hour window of when it will arrive) so when I order online I always choose DPD.

Had my first experience with Hermes and it's not good so far.
Ordered some shoes 2 days ago. Paid for next day delivery. They never arrived yesterday. Although it says, "Delivery Confirmed by Courier."

All these cheap ass courier "companies" like Hermes and Yodel are fucking shite.
DPD and UPS are quite good, and to a certain extent FedEx (unless you send something to Colombia )...

I've had a couple of packages from them recently, fortunately they have both turned up but he first one was a pair of bottles which were a bit squashed. The second was a pillow so hard to tell how that's been treated Each time they turn up in a sheddy unmarked van. The first delivery took 4 days, but the second only two (not including weekends).

They delivered my order from Boots online a couple of weeks ago (not lazy, just never have my hair dye in the shops!)
They must have thrown it all over the place, there was conditioner all over the box which ruined some of my make up and my spray can of fake tan was all dinted.
Obviously looking after the goods isn't a priority for them.

Hermes are shite, they either turn up late or just randomly leave the package at any old address. I was basically sat next to my front door last week listening for the doorbell, heard a leaflet shoved through the letterbox and said that i didnt answer the door so left it next door. I went next door and even they didnt know anything was dropped off, hermes just opened their front door and dumped it there.
Whenever i send these off i use UPS and they have been 100% spot on in all the years i've used them. All the other companies have been fine aswell.

I bought a HVAC unit for my car, it was covered in "FRAGILE" tape and arrived smashed up beyond repair. I wasn't happy at all!
