anyone using this?
just wondering how much you save..
The MPS is insured for about 450-500
just had a quote on the GTI for 290..
but that was without calling up as multicar..
£400 a year if I keep it in the garage. £290 is I say its kept on the street

seemed good when i had the 3 mps and e39 m5 on there, but when i sold the mps and bought a 320d tourer they wanted an additional £600 to remove the mps and add the 320d!
piss takers!
i cancelled the policy and rang brentacre who mirrored my no claims and set me up 2 policies. very cheap, very helpful!

Just taken out a policy with the missus.
Good £120 quid cheaper than any other quote I could get on my own. Weirdly adding each other to each others cars as named drivers took masses off the quote.

I found that Aviva multicar was cheaper than Admiral by a fair chunk to be honest!

Yeh it will be a fail if it gets stolen because the insurance will only pay out if it's stolen from your garage

Insurance companies only ask where its kept overnight and if its kept at your place of work. What if its stolen on the street between the time you finish work and the time you put it in the garage overnight or whatever way you want it. Usually always get round it if they were to start asking questions

a dangerous game imo.
i phoned up and asked about my two cars. they would insure car 1 up for renewal for 4 months until it was inline with car 2's renewal date, then i would reep the benefits.
so i asked what would be the combined cost in 4 months time..."oh sorry sir i can't give you that"
i put the phone down, i didnt like the idea of being tied into a policy which was due to cost be an unknown amount in four months time.
i admit it was 3 years ago now and things may have changed but as they couldnt indicate how much i would "save" or offer a basic quote i am less than impressed.
useful for ppl who CBA to search around and find a saving!

Admiral gave a fixed quote for 5 months time for the missus so we know what she needs to pay in March.
Written down on our policy too so can't be backtracked by some dodgy telephone staff
