Hi, scams are usually really easy to tell but im a bit stuck with this one. I have a vader interior for sale from a bmw and somebody has been emailing me a while wanting them. I think he's from Latvia but his phone number comes up from India on google lol so that's alarm bells. However what i dont understand is that he says the courier will pay me in cash, what could the scam be here? If the money is legit then what could go wrong? Anybody dealt with something similar?

I usually wouldnt bother with anything like this but for some reason nobody else is interested in the interior

I've heard of them buying cars here a lot but never heard of buying an interior. Im very confused by it all. If he wants to send a courier to my house and has the cash on him then il go for it. Im not at all confident that it's going to happen though

There is a lot of vans taking parcels/passengers from Latvia/lithuania/poland to UK and back on same route. The guy could just give them money so that they could pay you. His number should start with +371 which is Latvian international phone number code.

I thought that but it's a bit extreme for just a £300 interior

Probably is just a van that travels across the UK or wherever to take things back to Latvia, we'll see if it happens on Friday

I'd tell them to sling their hook as I'm a major cynic and I'd rather not have some Eastern European tramp scam me.
