What would cause a car alarm to keep going off randomly? Keeps happening on my van. its done it since I bought the van. Happens all over the place so nothing to do with interference round my house.
Battery isnt the best on the van. on a chilly morning the clocks spaz out and it struggles to start. Could be that. but it litterally goes off 10 mins after the vans turned off

Some of them use voltage sensing on the interior light to see if the door has been opened, so it could be related to the battery.

Check the charging and change the battery, Obviously alarms go off if you cut the power to them while they are set, so it dropping to 10v for more than a few seconds could cause it to go off.
Otherwise it could be a fault with the alarm, What make is it? also what Van?
