not really advertised it on here but i have recently begun taking my old corsasport to bits and reshelling it into a newer cleaner and better shell. The new shell has EPAS instead of hydralic power steering and no sunroof so is lighter anyway here are the pics up to now

anyone needing a nice black corsa interior?

Wow that's brilliant! If your fully repainting the car shouldn't you have left the engine out so you can get the bay painted too? Will be watching this

The engine bay is the colour I'm thinking of painting it, though I'm not sure yet, leaving the bay silver regardless. Reshell has been an interesting job and a good chance to change things I didn't like in the old shell

Fair enough! It's just if you repaint the car silver again the bay may be noticeably different as its old paint with fresh paint but I'm just anal about things like that! what are you doing differently on this one?

I want a fun car not a show car

Wiring is like that so I could check all electrics allow the engine and everything else to work

What happens with the reg plate on a re-shell of a car?

How much of a car do you need to replace before it becomes a different car? If that makes sense
