Hi all noticed today on my fuel regulator the thin metal bit that comes out that the pipe connects to is loose and around it at the bottom is letting air out will this cause me any problems not sure how long its been like it

It will still run, don't think it would help it though.

I've got a spare 2.5 bar one for sale if needs be Just realised I have a 3.0 bar one too

When I was checking fuel pressure on mine the other week, we got 2.5 bar with the hose on and 3.0 bar with the hose blocked but not connected to the FPR

ok cheers lads just been looking and ive seen that the XE is a 2.5 bar and the LET is a 3.0 bar and that the can fit the 3.0 bar one to the dizzy type XE can anyone confirm or add to that cheers

Mine must be a 2.0 bar as it was fitted to my XE. I just assumed they were all 2.5bar when Daz said

2.5 came on the early XE's with cream injectors, 3.0 bar came on the later coilpacks with the blue injectors I have both sat here

would a 3.0 bar 1 work alright with cream injectors

I ran mine with it for a bit and it exaggerated the problem I was originally having but still seemed to run ok just hunted a little on idle at times.

I've not tried it since the car is running well again though.
