Looks petty big job, have you got a picture of the damage befo it was stripped?
Also is it one big panel front to back of does it come in few pieces?
I ordered rear 1/4 for my Clio and it was most of the side of the car top to bottom, only just got it fitted in our jeep. Lol

Come in 2 peices Iaz, A post and inner A post are all as one, and full side panel is another piece.
That's with A post gripped on, also sat door and side panel on but forgot to take a pic 
Unfortunately I don't have no before pics, although there wasn't much to see, came to us with no bumpers, no door or wing and all rest stripped off. All I took off was boot and bonnet.

That a big panel at the back then,is the door hindge on that a panel also? get more pics as you do it, I find it interesting to see how it's done professionally. . . I just change panels how i think It should be done, try avoid doing welded on panels if I can tho cos I am no expert in it.

Yeah the rear is a fairly big old panel!!
Yep hinges come just tacked onto the A post invade they need adjusting seen as they are welded on and not bolted.
I fit the door to the A post and then put the full side panel on just loosely. Basically hold it all with grips and self tapper screws to make sure it will all fit and line up ok. Then the rear side panel needs taking off, take the door back off so I can weld up the A post. Then put the side on again so can weld that on. Then try door back on make sure it all fits once welded up. Then if it fits ok, weld all the way round the hinges so they are solid.

Ahh I see, no I have new A post, side panel all to weld on, then they also gave me a new door and wing so can try bits on.
Looks well for a 12 plate with 3k doesn't it

That's quite reassuring cos I have self tapped things on to start with to get them lined up before welding. It's not a small job, wonder wot all this is costing to repair with paintwork, new panels, welding on etc etc.

Your work always looks top notch, especially for when it was done in a barn etc.
Self tapping on is just an easy way to hold it all in place really, I wouldn't usually do it for 1/4 panels or sills etc as can just grip them on, just self tap things like the a post so then I can try door on etc. So before now I've self tapered inner wings on so grips aren't in the way to try the wing on etc.
IMO I think this was a wrote off but not sure really. Can't see someone paying cash for it all, and can't see it been insurance work seen as the garage has done the stripping, sent it to us for panel work, then they are doing painting/fitting.

Keep the thread posted with pictures as you go along please. Fair bit of work gone into the stripping of it, getting panels off etc

much better when they are a full side, less filler to rub down when you mig it together, only little bits on the a-post after you mig it together

Once tacked try parts on again, wing and door
Good enough gaps for loosely held on, all is adjustable.
And with side panel
A post is now all welded on, after having to separate the inner and outer slightly seen as the robot at Vauxhall must have been pissed and it wasn't in the right place.

im still surprised a panel that size got delivered without damage, the amount of time i had to refuse the parts cos some donut didnt put in his delivery van properly

Yea few panels I have I bought normally have a dint of some kind when delivered, and that panel is huge on the van.
