Found out today I'll be working in Greenock at the dry dock for at least 4 nights at the end of the month-anything to see or do in my down time?

Apart from getting beating up by hostile locals, not really.
Some nice old buildings in glasgow and the shops are alright.

Not booked any digs yet but might end up sleeping on the boat (class A ERRV for anyone that might be interested)

Whats that, emergency response? You are probably safer on a boat than in Greenock lol.
Not bad fish and chips I suppose.

Yeah, emergency response and recovery vessel-I'm up training the crew how to operate the new daughtercrafts that we're supplying.
How far away is Glasgow? Would I be better stopping there

Nah Glasgow isn't that near. Will be plenty hotels around, Gourock, even Glasgow airport if you are flying in.

If there's a chance of getting beat up, Lee would be the sort it would happen to.

It's a shit hole. Grandad lives just down the road in Largs and has a boat at inver kip which is a nice marina. Glasgow isn't a mile away. Can get train into there easy enough. Loades to do in Glasgow. Great night out.

Greenock is the smack capital of the UK.
If you can get yourself up to Glasgow the West End is where you want to be.

Yeah greenock isn't that nice a place, would be better off getting a train into Glasgow as said. Loads to do in Glasgow as long as you've got money you can't get bored.
