No wonder insurance prices are so high,
I had a relatively slow speed (under 10mph) knock about 4 years ago,
Turns out my insurance has passed the details onto another company trying to get everyone involved in the knock to claim compensation?
Surely they would have claimed by now? Considering he was saying each person would get at least 1100quid.
Stupid in my opinion!

Abuse was dished out on the phone.
Rant over.

I dropped a vending machine on a car over 2 years ago, liability insurance paid out for the car but now a woman who, to my knowledge, wasn't even in the car at the time, is trying to claim for whiplash

Utter scum.

There is a time limit on RTA claims. It's 3 years from the date of the accident or 3 years from the date of the occupant's 18th birthday if they were under 18 at the time of the accident.

I get these claims companies ringing up about my old car that was hit whilst I was indoors.

Insurance companies make a quick buck selling the numbers. Then pay out shitloads in unclaimed injury money. They are thick as shit - all of them.

My insurance went down £100 again this year, which was 1/3 of total cost.

Just stressed me out, why would an insurance company give details to a company so people can claim against said company?
Odd.

Yes my insurance goes down every year but for the likes of youngens it's going up.

Can I confirm, were you being targeted specifically or did you just get a text/call saying that you've had 'a' crash and you could claim?

A lad I used to work with bumped into a parked car, he reversed and didn't see it. He got out put his and company details on paper under wiper blade. A few weeks later office rung saying 4 people are claiming for whiplash . To cut a long story short they got it on CCTV and it showed the car empty and one Asian women walking back to her car and getting the note , getting in car and driving off . Our works insurance company took all four to court and all of them got done for fraud

Admiral is my insurer, they gave out my details and the other parties so I could be claimed against? This I what I don't understand why it's been done. They seem to be morons.

That's not an accident claim mate!

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
