Didn't realise they went as late as an 06 plate. I test drove an SMG car and loved it, still part of me wants one but doing over 1k miles a week just means no.

If it doesn't feel fast you are doing it wrong.
But then I suppose if you come from a small car it might not have the same speed sensation. Plus it's balanced and has a huge amount of rubber on the road do it doesn't get unsettled easily meaning it feels quite safe as such.
Glad you liked it, you'd beat it up hill tho

they're a heavy car, what do you expect? 5.5 to 60 isn't exactly slow, especially considering the car is getting on for 10 years old.

■343 PS (252 kW; 338 hp) @ 7900 rpm
■Torque: 365 N·m (269 lb·ft) @ 4900 rpm
■0-100 km/h (62 mph) — 5.1 s for manual and SMG, 5.5 s for cabriolet
■1/4 Mile — 13.3 s @ 104 mph (167.4 km/h)
■Top Speed: 155 mph (249 km/h)(electronically limited); 191.38 mph (308.00 km/h) (delimited)[citation needed]
■Skid Pad: 0.89
From wiki though, I thought 5.2 coupe and 5.5 very

I never said it was slow lol. Just because the cars 10yrs old means nothing lol. When I was selling my golf the amount of M3 owners asking for PX/swap deals were unreal so they couldn't have been that great

Well there must be a hell of a lot of soft lads on the cutters site then as that's where all the offers came from lol. They must have wanted a car that doesn't split in half after its 5 yrs old lol.

Does that happen? I ask as I've never seen a 5 year old m3 split in half you see and I'm considering buying one next year or the year after.

Christ now I know your on the usual piss take. The amount of M3s with the subframe split I've read about is what really put me off them. Johns on here has the same problem if I read correctly what is "mate" says.
