Found a cheap set of goodyear eagle F1 GSD3 in the size i need locally but I remember reading on here a while back that there were good and bad ones? Like they were made in two different places or something.
Anyone remember it or how you could tell them apart?
Think im either going to go with these or some Falken 542's as they seem to be getting good reviews too
Cheers Gavin

They were being phased out a few years ago in favour of f1 asymmetric pattern.

What Mike said. They were the exact same tyres but 2 completely different compounds, I rang goodyear and they took some part numbers off the tyres and they were made on opposite sides of the world!!

I had them on the Corsa, on my softstars and couldn't fault them. That was the ones made in Germany not China and as Mike says it was stamped on the tyres sidewall.

Ones I have found are made in germany
May go with them, anyone know how stiff they are? As my car is quite heavy on its sidewalls. Currently ones run great with their XL casing
