This is the current site, been good for the last few years but needs an update:
http://www.manchesterpropertygroup.co.uk/
Looking for some constructive feedback on these if possible please (just the layout for now, the links etc don't work):
http://nsmwebdesign.com/mockups/mpg/index3.html
http://nsmwebdesign.com/mockups/mpg/index1.html
http://nsmwebdesign.com/mockups/mpg/index.html
Do you think the background image is too distracting? Any other thoughts?
Any help appreciated

Not too bad and certainly much better than the current one.
Few thoughts.
Wallpaper doesn't work for me as it currently is. Way too messy.
I think make it static, like your third link, but also make it greyscale.
You might also think about doing a responsive layout as it's way easier to do now than to implement at a later date.
Also the current standard seems to dictate larger fonts. There's no arguing that we're going towards higher PPI screens.
Have a look at the font sizes (and line spacing) they're using over on http://www.smashingmagazine.com/ as I think that's pretty much spot on (and they should know what they're doing).
And a last very minor detail, I think the antialiasing is off on the logo as it doesn't look completely crisp to me. Also, I'd loose the outline on the white text.

The Smashing Magazine web page is also a class example of good use of responsive design. Try resizing your browser window and see how it takes advantage of the size to accomodate all possible device resolutions. Very cool stuff.

Out of the ones posted, I like 'index1' - index 3 the red clashes with the orange and index the big white gap at the bottom of the background image looks ugly.
I only had a quick skim of the text etc but that's all the same on every version isn't it?

Cheers. Text is all the same, it's pretty much just the different background image and on 'index' the image is static, it scrolls down to white on the others.
