Anyone got a Nintendo Wii and actually uses it quite alot? Looking at getting one for Xmas and didn't want to get bored of it by the end of Jan and it never get used again. Games will be for family fun not just kids. Your thoughts please.......

Yeah, I'd look at the new one. Me and the misses got bored of ours pretty quick.
If you get an Ethernet connector you can get BBC iPlayer and a few other select apps on it, which is handy.

We had one. Think we used it twice. 90% of the games you get for it are aimed at 8 year olds.
Playstation Move is miles better, but also quite a bit more pricey.

Bit late to the party
Same as conway really.. Anything where you have to wave your arms around is novel at first but will very quickly wear off.

Bought a white one years back and took it to bits to fit a Katana Piano black case. Then they released the black one a few months later.

Had one for two or three years. Just gathers dust really, we tend to play on it over Xmas though.

Who else lets out a massive sigh if you go to a do at a house and they suggest getting the Wii out? No imagination.
