How do you rate them? Just after something for running my MP3 through and seem to be good value for money.

Probably depends which particular set you're on about tbh 
I've got the Z323 set, seems pretty good to me for the money (about £50 a year ago iirc)

bit of a silly question, they're £18.50, so only expect £18.50 worth of quality sound.

They'll be fine, if the sub is anything like the rest of their range then it's very overpowering, even on the lowest setting (no way of turning it off)
