i know, but i am going to use it all year round. At least i know its protected now.

Cheap cars are cold, slow and feel dangerous in this weather, corrado is warm and feels planted, has decent brakes etc. Much better/safer.

If i get more rust, i'll just fix it

Had it over 6yrs now

Its nice to go the opposite way with a car, most people get a nice car and over the years it slowly deteriorates, whereas mine has slowly gotten newer.

I bought some winter tyres with rims, was meant to be a complete set of 4 mk4 golfs steels, but they wouldn't fit over the front brakes so have two golf bbs alloys on the front, i liked the look and haven't got round to fitting the rear winter wheels, as they would be steels. Am hoping to get 2 more BBS alloys and then sell the 4 steel wheels without tyres

Wasn't much of a leap from my 1.4 corsa sport, think the corsa was about £400 and the corrado nearer £600, i was 25yrs old at the time.

Have you done any bodywork to this 3CM or has it all been under the skin?

Looks nice!

It doesn't stand out as a private plate to me. Just a 6 digit plate.

Oh right, i thought it was on the same basis as Bretts P5TFU plate.

But in this case, Don't Give a Fuck.

yeah i have done some to the wheel arches mainly and the sills. Had the front wings off and treated all the back of them too, been underneath it and sorted out any splits etc in the underseal. Also had to paint some of the tailgate.

Nice, all I really know about this car is the banter surrounding it

Did you know what you were doing when you got this car, or has it been a learning experience?

Hadn't changed a brake pad before I got it. Just got stuck in and faced each bit as I got to it. Rather than worry about not being able to it.

Found it quite easy really. Most mechanics seem to be school drop outs with some vague certificate. So I was confident I could manage it too.

Yeah I'd love to do this eventually, buy a car I'm not scared of breaking and then learn it all properly.

Kudos
