just got a tesco samsung mobile but want it unlocked, anyway to do this for free, tesco wont do it for 12months of owning the phone

Have a look at giffgaff.com/unlock
Otherwise it's about £10 from eBay; i've had codes from eBay before and (touch wood) haven't had any issues.

I did it that way on a galaxy s a few years ago, haven't personally done it on an ace but it says it works.
