does all stuff like this make it that better than just playing on xbox? i know people prefer pc's to consoles, but is it really worth the outlay? (genuine question, im not a gamer)

When I seen the price my very first thought was a whole next gen console.

and you need a processor, ram, motherboard, case etc which adds right up, i know it can then be used for more than just gaming (and i spent a grand on a massively under specced laptop in comparison) but for gaming it seems to be 5 times more than an xbox, is it 5 times better looking?

I'd say PC graphics smash the granny out of any console but if it was £1 for £1 I wouldn't be so sure.

Either way fuck it, going to spunk it on birds computers or cars.

Depends what games you play too I guess?

Like for me, if I was to play BF3 or Command and Conquer, I'd be playing it on my PC. But if I was going to play GTA or Assasins Creed, it would be on the console.

Thats more to do with the controls though, which is abit of amute point because you can use a PS3 controller on a PC if you so wish.

if you want resolutions more than 1920x1080 then cards like this are needed.. triple screens for eg.

slap this on in 1080p

its not olny about how stuff looks in high resolution either, but that you can modify and change settings you dont like, for example, that blurring on that vid.. i HATE that in any game but i can turn it off on a pc, you wouldnt be able to on a console.. depth of field i also hate when things go blurry which are supposed to be close.

this is a pic of Dayz which im playing atm,

this isnt particularly high res but it still looks great. (this game arma2 was released bloody yonks ago aswell)
