hi.
i am looking to do tops of my bumpers and the wheel arch's gloss black but how do you get the smooth look ? if any one has done them could reply please that would be great also some pics cheers

Sand down - plastic primer - high build - sand high build - topcoat and laquer. That's my usual process at work

High build primer, acts like a filler in a way and smooths out the dimples.

180 grit untill smooth ish, 240 grit, 320, plenty of high build primer, wet flat with 600 grit, then paint and laquer.
