Down a slip road all the way to 120 and then a few in gear tussles too!
He had no chance, 0-60 he was 2 car legths back, 0-100 he must have been six and at 120 it must have been 12 or so. He did look a little shocked actually, dont think he knew what he was up against.
We had a few in gear plays then too, in fourth from about 70 to 120 again I made a good few car lengths. First real play Ive had in the car since Ive added a few toys, performing well!
What power are the GSI astras BTW?

152 top end, fack thats pretty quick, are they 6 speed then?
Bet mine would struggle to do 150, its about how quick you get there though I guess! I dont think 200bhp is enough for a 150mph car, it would take days in 6th to reach that!

i got a 200sx also although the book figure for mine is 7.5 secs 0-60 its been timed on 1/4 as 6.7 0-60. its 200sx s14 touring (200bhp standard).
is standard should be fair bit quicker than the new astra GSI turbo.

Ive seen book figures from 6.2 to 7.5 for my car, its a 200sx S14a touring.
Full Blitz NUR spec zorst (3.25" to the turbo), HKS adjustable actuator, Apexi induction kit, boost set at 14psi, eibachs, 18's, dump valve. Dunno what power it is, Im gonna have it set up when I get the FMIC, the new fuel pump and the plugs.

Similar specced cars on the SXOC are running 240bhp plus so Id be happy with that. Looking for 300ish with the new toys on there!

Aaah, I see. Sorry, Ive just noticed your choice of car.
If you were insinuating that my car was old, its a late 99 with 30,000 miles on the clock, 1 owner from new and had its first MOT about 6 months ago. Not that old! And I also saved a wedge on the new asking price of £24,500, which I could not afford anyway! Id rather buy my cars with cash I have than being tied to finance.
Fastest car in the world.........no. Faster than the astra I had a play with.........well, yes!
