Damn Clio's are a bag of shit - 2002
Currently having a sound of metal rubbing when at low revs/low rpm, it was suggested that it could be the clutch release bearings?
It can be when im setting off or when i've let it run down in gear, say 3rd at 1500revs, then accelerate - this puts out the theory of brakes rubbing at least?
Any one got any idea?
Would ask on cliosport but its jammed up with ads so doesnt load properly at work!!

Does the sound disappear when you dip the clutch? Could be a water pump or noisy alternator maybe.
