Planning a road trip to Amsterdam next year..
466.6 miles
7 hours 45 minutes
Have you or anyone you know ever done the trip?
Furthest I have drove before is to camber sands near rye (Hastings) which was a treck (213.8 miles 3 hours 39 minutes)

Any reason you want to drive? Can get the Eurostar and another high speed train there. Far more relaxing and not going to cost a lot more after you've factored everything in.

Ferry is decent if you are after making a bit of a journey of it, Hull-Zeebrugge/Rotterdam.

I've driven it. It's a nice drive to be fair. I went to the center parcs near it.

Went to spa Belgium for the f1 this year. I was in the back of the car on my own but wasnt bad at because you are looking forward to where you r going and on way back thinking about what you have done

Ive driven it twice, from Mid Wales so about 280 miles to Dover.
Went Dover to Dunkirk for the ferry crossing, its a fair old drive even when you make it to Belgium, its a good 3-5 hours from what I remember, driving through Amsterdam at rush hour with no place to stay and no idea where to go aint a lot of fun, but seemed like a good idea at the time
