Everywhere local is very expensive.

Can anyone recommend a good place to get reasonable tyres (don't want budgets).

im looking for a pair of 245/35/ZR19

Theres a few on ebay, but not sure how much Id trust the sellers.

Camskill and then a cash in hand job for a local place to fit them.

Or, funnily enough for my Winter tyres, it was cheapest and easiest through Black Circles - arrange to get them fitted at their local approved fitter and the tyres get delivered straight there too.

What sort of cash price would a garage want to balance and swap over a tyre?

Some on here seem to get it for £5 a wheel! My tame tyre fitter charges me £12.50 a wheel, a couple of garages nearby who didn't want to get involved were quoting £25 a wheel

I always finding my local tyre place do it cheaper than camskill. Just having 2 tyres fitted now on my missus car. 195/40/17, camskill were £70.80 for each tyre plus fitting. I am paying £75 all in per tyre.

Sometimes in the past if the best price was through Black Circles I'd phone up the tyre place that they use as my local fitter and they'd do it much cheaper than the online price!

Quick question for the gurus.

My front tyres are 245 / 35 / 19

Back tyres are 275 / 30 / 19

I need to order rear tyres and I'm getting a pair.
Is there a reason why the rears are 30 and not 35?

the difference in the width means the profile of the tyre will be roughly the same

if you get what i mean?

Nope sorry lol.

So I'd def need to order 30's again? No improvements for getting 35's?

the profile of the tyres is a percentage of the width

so a 245/30 will have a smaller side wall to a 295/30

Right slight dilemma.
Rear tyres are currently 275/30/19

Anyone know if I could safely put on 295/30/19, would there be any detrimental effects?

Don't buy the car if you don't want to pay for the tyres
