We've currently got an IQ as our runaround car and it's due for a change in May next year. Our local Vauxhall garage had an Adam in today so we went down to have a look. In the flesh it looks great in my opinion and a bit quirky which we like. Test drive is booked for January and it looks like it will be the replacement for the IQ.
The other car we went to look at was a limited edition corsa, they look good but I'm not sure. I know plenty on here don't like the Adam but I'll post pics when it arrives if we go for it.

I think if it didn't have a daft name it would do better.
I fancy a club for them.

Saw one in Manchester arndale. Looked fantastic. If I was after a brand new car it would 100% be one of them

They are lovely inside.
Tiny inside though. Back seats are stupidly small. 500 is more practical.

Jambo - not too concerned about it being all that practical, hence the IQ we have now. It's usually just one or two of us in the car. Being able to use my GM points, 48 months 0% APR and 100,000 mile warranty were big plus points over a 500.
We looked at a 500 last time but the local garage were doing their best not to sell us one so we went with the Toyota.

Ah yeah suppose the IQ is just two seats isn't it?
Personalisation options are meant to be great. More of a sat in feel than the 500 which feels like you are on boxes.
They did an exclusive edition (think that's what it was called) that had Mettalica paint and copper paired alloy inserts with cream leather. Looked the tits.

Here you go Mr 286 - seems to explain what they're doing: http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/vauxhall-adam-first-drive-2012-11-06
Not sure if they're 'out' yet though? Think they're going on sale next year - could be wrong.

ed - they can be ordered now and should be delivered in April. They have made a batch of specific ones which are available earlier but they aren't the spec we would want.
