Going to look at this tomorrow with a mate

Any advice what to look for? Most obvious thing I thought was the timing belt, probably needs one at that mileage, currently 73k?

These go really well, had them as a temporary company car whilst new ones were being sorted and I'd love one

These got the same front suspension as the b5 a4/passat? If so the bushes/arms are expensive if worn

No, it's Mk5 Golf setup underneath

Can't think of much to check, can't really think of anything that went wrong with my TDi that may would be common on the TFSi models also.

Check the engine breathers going into the front of the rocker cover isn't leaking. Try to pull the dipstick or oil cap off when running if you can't get it off the PCV is leaking.

Also there's a cam follow that fails on the engines only an hours job to change.

Such a bombproof motor!

I've got a 3 inch downpipe in my garage for one too

Great cars but diesel is a much better car apart from the failing DPF's
