Ok, the Mrs told me my fashion sence is terrible... Which i agree.

For Xmas she bought me a pair of cream chino's and some brown cordoroy chino's.
What the hell kind of footwear can i wear with them?.

My standard go-to clothes are:

Jeans with brown loafers or white trainers.
Shorts and flip flops.
or if im going out, Trousers with Pointy shoes.

Theres no way im ever going to buy espedrilles or Hi tops, as im not 16... Any ideas?

Usually converse or mid top trainers.

I dont wear the cord chinos though.

I got myself some brown leather trainer type deck shoes from Next when I bought some chinos.

Darker coloured trainers works, depending on what they are.

I wear chinos for work but then chinos, shirt/polo and deck (not boat as top man calls them) are the suit of the marine industry so kind of expected

Jeans were more common before they arrived. They started wearing chinos and everyone suddenly had to be seen in them.

Serious post. I have a pair of these:

Then go really well with a slightly darker chino as well as jeans. Really versatile shoe and Hudson are decent quality.
