Well they'll be better than cut springs
I've had Fks before and other cheap coilovers and they've been fine for the roads. I had to spray mine in wd40 a few times though as they were making some odd noises lol but other than that they were fine for the price. Think i only paid £70 for them aswell brand new which was even better (wasnt for a corsa by the way).

I've got them on my xe Corsa mate. Bit bouncy on the front with the weight of the xe but getting high poundage springs for that. On a half decent road without quarry's in it there fine! Lol

Girlfreind has them on her golf , they were really bouncy wound all the way down , but we wanted it lower aswell so removed the helper springs and that's stiffen'd it right up

They are what im running on my car. Wound all the way down front and back and the ride is fine. Front can be abit bouncy sometimes so i would hate to use them with an xe in the car, mines only a 1.4 sport. I paid £160 delivered for mine off ebay.

You will be fine with a small engine, but drop something else in it and you may want to upgrade them.lol my car handles and riees fine. Dont think you will get any better for £160 tbh
