So I bought my centre caps for my mo's and they don't fit. But not because of the wheel. But because if the drums on the back. They for sound in the fronts but on the back because the wall of the drum is thicker they won't fit between the drum centre and the wheel centre. If that makes any sense?
Now... Do I grind down the centre of the drum in work for it to fit it do I fob them off or any other advice?

Yes them ones Sean but the brand new plastic ones fresh from compomotive. And corsa_sport there not the plate ones. See my build thread there the new ones I've just bought

Basically what I want to know if would you say it's dangerous for me to grind away my drum. The bit that sticks out for the wheel to sit around

It's not that there not deep enough. It's that the bit of the hub that sticks out. It's too wide. So there's only let's say a 3mm gap between the centre of the drum and the centre of the wheels but there needs to be 5mm to fit the caps in

I wouldnt bother going through all that trouble to fit a cap? Is there anyway you can mod the actual cap to fit?

Without cutting the claw bits off and just glueing the cap to the wheel. But that's Lot of effort to go through every time I change my tyres aswell :/

Fitting a 5mm spacer is probably your best bet, 5mm is quite alot to grind away

Don't cut the caps incase you don't want them I can buy them then

Id just do what sean said if not glue them! I certainly wouldnt be grinding 5mm away from my hub just for a plastic cap

Wouldn't it put more stress on the wheel nuts? Less support from the centre bore

I don't want to cut the caps don't worry Sean

Ill have a hunt for some spacers and see if it helps.

Going to need to buy some new bolts for them now.
Anyone got a decent link to some wheel bolts...
Preferably a touch longer than standard to make up for the spacers?

Stud and nut conversion from demon Tweeks, the more expensive ones as they don't stretch with heat
