Been up to few things on the van, painted one set of wheels back

Then painted faces pink,

Then coated in flip and lacquered.

Also got some wet tyres that I had put on spare set of wheels. . .

Went to Courtney sport last week, 250 miles each way, they found my fuel pump was week so put upgraded one in and then spent 4 hours mapping, came back with few more hp, 304, really nice smooth map and piece of mind its running well for this years track days.

After selling my kw v3 cos i found i could not get them quite stiff enough for track use and was never happy with them for wot they cost. . . My Gaz golds came before Christmas so put them on after trip to Courtney, they have been made hopefully with spring rates and shocks valves to suit the van and spec.

Old and new together

Few pics of suspension on with van on the 17x9 road tires . . Toyo r1r

Pic with slicks on

Pic with wets on

Think its little lower then before and could be used as snow ough maybe now, lol

This happened when going down lane to farm where I keep van.

Given van an oil change

All pretty much ready for track day we have booked to Saturday 26th, hopefully snow has gone by then, just want to get to grips with suspension and tyres. See wot weather it throws up. . . . .

I love the inlet, lost some torque but made car far smoother and more power up top so ideal for wot I want on track, Courtney were happy with vans power said it was good for vxr turbo and they most I could expect from that turbo.

Would like more power but don't want to run into reliability issues.

Not tried full wets before, they cost under 100 for set delivered, part worn, was worried that van was gonna be poor in wet with being stiffer with new suspension and wheels were spare so seemed good idea to have set of worn wets, heard they overheat quick when it dries out.

Plan now is slicks for dry, 240 width
Road tyres which are toyo r1r for damp track use, ment to be quite good in wet, 235 width
Wet tyres for wet. . . Ad maybe snow use, lol, 240 width

Wanted to nip down road in van today to see wot they we like in the snow, hahaha

Ak wot sort of tyres pressure do you run on track, any different for wet tyres, I just keep mine around 26-28 when warm but wondered if I should experiment bit with pressures.

we always aim for 30psi hot.... so if its damp/wet you wont get as much heat so start a little higher base pressure.

The wets heat up very quickly... and fall to bits if used in dry!

Wets will NOT be road legal.

Will try 30 psi then next week. . . . I guess wets will start to break up in damp conditions also if they start to run to hot

damp isnt too bad, but if there are dry lines you really want to be on something like a semi
