hi guys need help please
slid in the snow today and bumped into the curb skided and my drivers side wheel is pushed right back onto the wheelarch does anyone no what damage has been caused?, had a look underneath and the coilover is pushed back not straight towards the main body of the car could it be that this needs replacing, had a look around on the site and found how to change it doesn't seem that hard any help appreciated thanks.

Sounds like u have bent the bottom wishbone

my mate did similar thing in hes polo bent bottom arm and drive shaft (dont ask how he managed that) but its possible you could have bent bottom arm, drive shaft and even the arm on steering rack best bet would be to get the wheel off and have a look

could be lower arm, traction control arm, ball joint, need to have a look to see whats gone tho

thanks for your replys guys if its just something thats bent and not broken, would it be possible to straighten it up or is it a replacement job, if it could be bent back whats the best way to bend it back is there some kind of hydrolic tool to use?

your best off getting replacement parts, either new or from a breakers. strip it out and see whats damaged, compare to otherside. most parts are cheep enough new any way.
