"Like brand new", other than the 84k miles, at least some of them done by some scrote who then crashed it, then recovered by some guy with a truck who would have been really concerned about not damaging it.

You should buy it.

I laughed at that bit too.

And no, I never fancied a VXR. I am pretty happy with my "not like new" crash damaged, moon mile write off.

You would get a good idea by looking at the surrounding parts that are damaged though.

Headlights only smashed, and the wing pushed back. Even the bumper dosn't look like its taken a bad hit.Certainly not enough to cause damage behind it. Could probably say that the main fixings and stuff behind the bumper will be fine.

Depends who is repairing it and to what standard. Will be worth less than market if its categorised and unless the repair is good most normal buyers won't touch it.

You'd need to get it for less than £3k and be able to repair and paint very cheap for it to be at all profitable. Don't forget that's gone through a salvage auction and most people in the trade have stopped at their maximum bid for that guy to win it, who has then put £500 on to list it on there.

Well I was thinking more along the lines of "Buy it, fix it, keep it"

Factoring in the time/effort... nah, no way is it worth it. If it was like a grand... I'd consider it

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Damage doesn't seem to bad tbh. Although they'd be hardly, if any profit to be had seeing as its categorised and quite high mileage for the year ect..

That still doesn't make sense. Minimum charge is £40, so if you live 20 miles away, its £40. if you live 40 miles away, its £40.

If you live 100 miles away, its £140?

Not sure i would wanna buy a car from somebody without even the most basic grasp of math's or even common sense
