Right i have to wire a live for my fuel pump so going to do it on the inginition so that it only comes on when i turn my key but not 100% which wire it is? Is it the thick black one? Thanks for any help in advance!

Could take it from the sterio? On the inginition the bottom left is the one that goes to the sterio witch only comes on when you turn the key.

Have you got any pictures? Would it not be easier ti do it to the wires going to the ignition barrel itself seeing as the ecu will be in d/s kick panel?

There's an ignition switched live in the stereo loom, red or yellow, can't remember. Easy enough to test for.

Well i just went out and cut my ignition wire and now can connect it back because the wire is too thick! Great :/

why are you needing an ignition live? is this for an xe conversion?

just read your project thread, why are you wanting to have the fuel pump run from the ignition? does it not work anyway?

Im trying to wire in the switch live to the ignition live for xe conversion! :/

you shouldnt need to run anything from the fuel pump. Run a black wire from the battery to the black wiring on your xe loom where it meets the corsa loom and you have cut it up.

you can see the black wire on the right nearest the ecu

match the black wire from the xe loom to the corsa loom then attach the black wire from the battery to these joined wires, should fire up no problem

I know, wiring loom is a little different and mine being 1.2 16v is prooving difficult haha

I don't know if this helps but I wired a cigarette lighter to my old corsa and I used the red wire to the stereo for my live
