Basically been offered one, high miles and head gasket gone.

What's it worth to break? Wouldn't bother fixing it.

Fair bit, depends what stuff it's got.

Wheels, seats, rear disc beam are all popular, depends how cheap you can get it really.

If its to break, i really wouldn't be wanting to pay anymore than a couple of hundred quid.

There's not that much desirable parts on them (as standard) and you might find you will be hanging on to a lot of stuff for a while.

Really??

With high miles and a blown HG, not going to be worth strong money.

With the Gti-6 you get alot of car for the money, but they never seem to command mega money for an average runner.

I read it as in what's it worth to buy, and break for parts.

Or how much should he be looking to pay for it.

Fix the head gasket and sell the engine. The 205 boys love them.

As said, fix the hg and sell the engine and brakes on the 205 forum. But check if it's a tapper. Quite common fault of bending a valve slightly causing a chappy motor.

Think I'm picking it up later, 2 month tax 9 month MOT and got a private plate too. Not sure what but ends in CUP so maybe worth while to a clio/megane owner.

As said cyclone alloys will be worth 100 plus. What phase 306 is it? As there are odd bits on the newer one that will sell easy like front bumper etc. Skirts will sell as well.
