Was just reading about this on Yahoo. They said its the 'biggest repair bill in British history.' They also said the cost was £910,000 and took over a year to fix. The previous biggest was £300,000 in 2010 for a Zonda. Apparently the engine ended up 20 metres away from the McLaren!

Every other person who owns one will have a premium hike now and will point the finger at Johnny English over there.

i'll sleep well at night knowing my insurance hike is due to a beautiful rare exotic being repaired, rather than mr singh and his 6 passengers claiming for neck and back problems after a 2mph rear end shunt.

Bet the assesor was having cold sweat when he saw the repair bill.
Can imagine a few supplementary jobs went in for that.
P.s. only the bodywork people may get that.
