CAR IS NOW FOR SALE!! just brought my self a astra vxr and need the car sold ASAP open to offers, let me know

HI my name is joe, im from Eastbourne, eastsussex, and i am a sprayer in a body shop i picked up this clean little corsa 1.6 sport for £500 and thought it would be a nice little project.

Here's when i first got it..

Starting to strip it.

Clean arches, no rot

End of the first day

Sorting out a few little dings

Smooth mirrors

Cutting the carpet

The whole car has been well coated with cavity wax

Sound deadening out

Roof lining out

Some nice fresh 10L for a whole respray inside and out

My banded steels 8j's on the back and 7j's on the front

Omp trs seats

Started daing the whole car ready for primer

Ariel taken out, going to bond a plate behind so i can smooth it

Little dent from dropping my wiper motor when i was stripping out the tail gate

Noticed that it was collecting water behind both rear lights, i have drained it away and a couple of days later it was back i think the previous owner might of cavity waxed a drainage hole up? any ideas?

Im going down the euro look so i fully smoothed the boot

Sooooo much rubbing down involved in this!

Also extended my bonnet

Will be keeping an eye on this. Looking good so far. You'll probably need some arch work or mad camber to be rolling decked on the banded steelies.

Interesting!
Only trouble with smooth boots is there's nowhere for the rear number plate and they look shit in the bumper.

Personally I'd make a section the perfect size of the plate recessed into the boot lid so it's flush

Can't wait to see what you do

He likes the idea of fully smoothed for full euro look but if it doesnt look good he will be semi smoothing another one! Hes going to get a 3/4 plate and stick it on the boot and when he sees it looks poo he'll change his mind
