Today is going to be shit.

In our office we usually have 6 of us on the phones, one guy on the counter, the administrator and 2 'managers' but today one of the guys is getting married so as of 12.30, we will have 3 on the phones and one manager, plus the guy on the counter. Our operations manager is going too so that adds to the fun.

Haha in my 1-2-1 meeting I had at the end of last month I said about the pay. And that other logistics jobs I’ve seen go for about 20k+
Boss now wants me to find those jobs so he can show his boss that we’re getting underpaid.
Sounds like he just wants me job searching while at work...

Doesn't make any difference. I work in a school doing Exams and Assessment Data and this role has increased so much over the last few years, in other schools my role has been split into two but the same salary for each post. Therefore, I am doing double the work for the same money as someone doing half of my job. My boss tells me to look for these jobs so that she can use it to get me a pay rise, but nothing has ever happened.

yeah im guessing nothing will happen anyway. but as long as i send my cv whilst researching competitive prices shouldnt be too much of a problem.
