I am handing my notice in at work. Holiday year starts 1st January and its normal statuary holiday of 28 days inc bank holidays.
Question is what do I get paid for and am I entitled to anything? I have used 4 days holiday already this year.

You will get what you have accrued. How many holidays do you get not including statutory?

As a rough guide if you do 28 / 52, that's how many days a week you get. We are 6 weeks in so multiply that by 6 gives you 3.23.
As you have used 4, they might take some money off you. Or they might just round 3.23 up to 4 and let you off.

You will probabyl have nothing based on what you have taken so far.
Based on 28 days a year, that is 2.33 days per months. So even by the end of February, you would only have 4.66 days so you may owe them.

I would say you owe them money which will be deducted from your final pay.

Although good for you that's a PITA for non teachers.
Although quite wide ranging, we're stuck to being able to only take holidays when the schools are off because gf is a teacher.

I've just lost my job and had accrued 1.9 days for the whole of Jan. I'd used a day at Christmas so only got 0.9 of a day. If you've taken four already it might be a fair chunk they take back Chris. Can't remember what my annual entitlement is but it's probably not as much as yours.

25 + BH ftl
Plus, as I work as an accountant, I am completely unable to take anything in week 1, 2 and 4 of every month because if I am not preparing for a month/quarter/year end (week 4 of previous month) then I am doing a month/quarter/year end (week 1 and 2 of next month).

I've handed my notice in and our holidays run from March to March.
My last day of employment is the 1st of March, so would I get my 28days holiday too?
